bit-tech: How long have you been involved in Modding? Have you made any cases before this one?
Besi: I have been modding for about 6 years and Coldfusion is my 4th casemod. You can find my other projects like the
X-Zone server on my website.
bit-tech: What inspired you to make this particular case?
Besi: I wanted to make an original and unique case, something that hasn’t been done before. At the time I started the project nobody I knew of had a case with almost 500W of speakers in it.
bit-tech: Tell us more about this case: what makes it special? What are its unique features?
Besi: The processor is cooled with "Dialecticum": this is a liquid with the same viscosity as water, non conductive and it can’t freeze. The processor itself is cooled with a Peltier. The case has 6 speakers on top (480W), an external subwoofer (180W) and a build in receiver (500W). The front of the case is totally custom-made and done with CNC.
bit-tech: How did you get to Cebit 2005? How were you selected for this competition?
Besi: Through
www.gamersnet.com
bit-tech: What is your prediction for this competition? Name your Top 3
Besi:
<ol><li>Hypercube</li><li>Doom3</li><li>Chimera</li></ol>
bit-tech: What plans do you have for the future?
Besi: I have plans for the future, but the only thing I can say about it is : SMALL and A LOT OF LIGHTS
bit-tech: And finally, what is your favourite Case Mod / Modder of all time?
Besi: I don’t have a specific case or casemodder, but you have to take a look at
www.tweaker.ch, there are lots of very nice mods in the forums.
